For over 40 years, Dancing Bear has been creating educational rock & mineral products that utilize hands-on STEM learning concepts to connect people of all ages back to the wonders of the natural world. Trained in early childhood education and recently retired from his wholesale rock business, Dancing Bear's founder combined his rock expertise with his love for children and created a one-of-a-kind rock activity kit. He hoped this kit might persuade kids to limit their screen time and get back in touch with Mother Nature. It was a huge hit with kids, parents, and grandparents alike, and so the Dancing Bear brand adventure began!

This FOSSIL COLLECTION KIT contains 12 different real fossil specimens! Each handpicked fossil comes in a ziploc bag with its own identification card. The ID cards are 2-sided: one side has fossil facts and the other side has an illustration of what the fossil may have looked like when it was alive millions of years ago! BONUS: Fossil ID Book. Our newly designed Geological Time Scale chart and a magnifying glass are also included. The fossil sizes range from ¾ to 2 inches depending on the specimen. Each fossil is unique so they may differ in color, shape, and size from the photos. This collection consists of the following fossils: Trilobite, Orthocereas, Crinoid Stems, 2 kinds of Fossil Shark teeth (Squalicorax and Carcharias), Brachiopods, Gastropods, Clams, polished Ammonite, Dinosaur Bone, Coral, and Coprolite (fossilized turtle poo!).
